JOSM tutorial
People in the field collecting field reports and GPS data will need a tutorial and training materials for JOSM. Some material already exists on the OSM wiki, and we should use that as a starting point. There also are some video tutorials. Though people might mostly use JOSM (due to limited internet connection), we can optionally also include materials on Potlatch and other ediors.

Tasks:
1) Determine what is missing from the JOSM guide on the OSM wiki and what to fill in.
2) Setup mechanism to group wiki pages together and print them as a PDF document. To do this, we can use the Collections extension for MediaWiki (developed by PediaPress and used on Wikipedia). We need to see if this can be installed on the OSM wiki. Otherwise, we will have to export the JOSM guide pages and put them on a different wiki some place else. (it takes ~1 minute to set up a new wiki, but separating things is not ideal)
3) Once Collections or other mechanism is setup, we need someone to organizing the pages into a cohesive guide book.
I can add Russ Nelson to the thread, and we want to reach out to osm-talk to recruit people to work on this.
First, though, we need to identify more specifically what the needs are and what is missing from the existing JOSM guide.
The JOSM package in Ubuntu has been broken since April 2009 (bug report) (though this has been fixed in Karmic). The package does not work with the new server API. If you prefer not to install manually, a quick workaround is to install the package (and dependencies) via the package manager first, and overwriting /usr/share/josm/josm.jar with the package from the website (rename the download to josm.jar) Payday Loan Direct
Is it running without error in your Ubuntu without any error? I installed Ubuntu more than 3 times but still it's not working properly. It processes all data in clean way but doesn't retrieve data again and lost them totally. Is that the problem I am facing alone or someone else too? Science and technology have done too improvements but these bugs makes me to bang my head on the wall. If i could really use a wish right now then I want bug free script. Is it possible?
